Project Brief:

For this project, we teamed up with a renowned interior designer who happened to be the owner’s best friend! The collaboration was great fun and extremely productive. The chalet has 5 bedrooms, a separate office and a second reception room. As the name suggests, the view from the terrace is out of this world!

Thoughts from the Team

The client had certain aims for this property including a quiet working space for her husband and herself, a large social entertaining space and a creative space for a baby grand piano. Glamourous and eye-catching lighting was a priority and splashes of bright colours were high up on the agenda. It was a fantastic brief and the end result was truly lovely. And it was the one and only time we have shipped a grand piano to the Alps!

We have been absolutely delighted with Chalet Shop’s service from beginning to end.   The team’s attention to detail, response rate, willingness to overcome issues, and overall investment in getting the job done right in a very personalised way were simply outstanding.  The final result exceeded our expectations – the quality of the products was even better than we had envisaged.  If you have any worries at all about purchasing all the products from mood boards and photos, there’s no need to worry!  The installation was also seamless and the onsite team another pleasure to work with.  They took away absolutely all the hassles of selecting, ordering, delivering and assembling all products for us, including taking away all the packaging, which could very well have been a nightmare given that we aren’t based in France and speak French poorly!  Save yourself all the hassle – the delivery and installation fees are well worth it for this efficiency alone and you will be delighted with the final result.
